Just like a gust of wind, I caught a glimpse of River Island’s A/W collection online and Ladies … you know autumn winter is my favourite
time of the year and I can tell you now you wont be disappointed this year.
Honestly speaking River
Island has been disappointing for me in recent years but I have to say the high street
retailer have a huge selection of contrasting trends in their collection this A/w. The
collection consists of the usual winter blacks and grey, all whites, 60’s
pastels, winter florals and colourful hip and preppy prints. Metallic, leather and
fringing feature heavily throughout the collection, but it was the plush faux
fur pieces that really caught my eye.
Faux Fur has been a huge trend the past few years and it’s
making another comeback, as it’s here to stay. With the type of variety River
Island are providing this A/W …they will definitely have you covered.
In conclusion the collection is classy, chic
and edgy but also girly and fun. The collection will start to pop up in River
Island from august 2014 and this one will be hard to miss.
